SINGAPORE, 29 July 2024 — Stellar Lifestyle, a business arm of SMRT and the largest managing agent of retail spaces in Singapore’s rail network, officially launches the Staytion Lifestyle Centre at Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station. Staytion Lifestyle Centre revitalises the longstanding station retail space and showcases the new blueprint of future retail hubs with a curated tenant mix within MRT stations.

Instead of purely leasing retail spaces within train stations, Stellar Lifestyle will curate a handpicked group of tenants to better serve commuters and local communities, based on location and the needs of the commuters in that neighbourhood.

Strategically located at a central interchange station, Staytion Lifestyle Centre is a beauty and wellness-themed lifestyle centre that offers convenient access to work and leisure services, specially curated to save commuters’ time without the need to make detours from their regular commutes.

Stellar Lifestyle plans to expand this approach to transit retail  to other stations over the next few years, tailoring each location to the unique needs of its local community. The new approach was cemented with the success of other similar hubs, such as Timezone at Orchard MRT and Hive 2.0 at Esplanade MRT.
